Short biography:

Holder of the agrégation in Law and the agrégation in Economics and Management, archiviste paléographe (graduated from the École nationale des chartes), and graduated from the École normale supérieure de Cachan, Xavier Prévost is full professor of legal history at the university of Bordeaux and junior member of the Institut universitaire de France.
