A delegation from the University of Groningen, led by Rector Jacquelien Scherpen, recently visited the University of Bern. The visit was characterised by lively discussions and showed a strong interest from both sides in strengthening existing collaborations and exploring new opportunities within ENLIGHT.

Student leaders and student representatives are getting ready for an enriching experience at the upcoming ENLIGHT Student Conference, where they will dive into discussions surrounding education, student interests, and global cooperation within the ENLIGHT Student Network. With representatives from esteemed universities across Europe, including Bern, Ghent, Galway, Göttingen, Groningen, the Basque Country, Tartu, Bratislava, and Uppsala, expect a diverse and vibrant exchange of ideas.
ENLIGHT Challenge-based education was in the spotlight from several angles at the EUA Learning and Teaching Forum, hosted this year by the University of Bochum on the 8 February on the theme Learning for, in and with society.
Over the next seven years, the Estonian government will fund ten centres of excellence addressing scientific issues of importance to Estonia. The University of Tartu leads six of them and participates as a partner in all other centres of excellence.

The workshop will be held at Comenius University in Bratislava in cooperation with RED NOSE Clowndoctors organisation, a Regional Academy of Comenius University that uses the art of clowning to bring humour and laughter to people in need of joy.
ENLIGHT promotes innovative teaching and learning approaches, one of them being the Challenge-Based Education (CBE) methodology and this is a call for participants in the next edition of the CBE training sessions for educators.
