EAIE Glasgow 2026: ENLIGHT Colleagues in Action and Join Our Meet & Greet 

This year’s EAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition takes place on 8–11 September in Glasgow, Scotland, at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).

The 2026 theme, “The Rhythm of Revolution,” invites us to tune into a call to question, collaborate, and create lasting change across international higher education.

Wednesday, 9 September 

  • BIPs that last: Making Blended Intensive Programmes sustainable (S3.12)

  • From visiting to understanding: Fostering student engagement through internationalisation (S7.14)

    • About: An interactive exploration of how active student engagement during physical mobility enhances intercultural learning, empowerment, and belonging. 
  • Humour as a communication tool: Alliance-based microcredentials for lifelong learners (410)

    • Speaker: Kateryna Yakovenko (Comenius University Bratislava) 
    • About: Presenting our 5-university co-designed healthcare microcredential pilot — blending online learning with immersive workshops to build empathy and resilience using humor. 

ENLIGHT Meet & Greet 

All ENLIGHT attendees are warmly invited to an informal ENLIGHT Meet & Greet! This year, our meet & greet will be hosted at the University of Bordeaux booth (F25) on September 10th from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm, at the occasion of their annual EAIE Wine & Chocolates event. Drop by to connect, share ideas, and catch up with colleagues from across our 10 member universities.
