Proposal to create an ENLIGHT Network for sustainable energy education and to meet the challenges of green, decarbonized campuses
We at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) are seeking ENLIGHT partners interested in joining us to submit a joint proposal under the "Green Campus Initiative" area and to collaborate on its co-design. We would like to invite university staff —whether teaching or research faculty— to participate in this proposal, which combines sustainability with teacher training and the development of sustainable campuses.
We aim to establish an innovative collaboration within the ENLIGHT framework—one that is inclusive and empowering for students, with the goal of a more sustainable future.
This project aims to build an international ENLIGHT community focused on sustainability and energy literacy within education and challenge-based learning. It seeks to create authentic "green campus" experiences by bringing together students and faculty from diverse disciplines—such as engineering, science, and education—and to design activities addressing energy and sustainability issues applicable to the partner university campuses.
The following specific objectives are proposed:

• O5: Create educational resources and activities replicable in other contexts

We are looking for partners within the currently open ENLIGHT+ call for proposals, which funds small-scale international collaboration initiatives among universities in the ENLIGHT alliance —such as workshops, networking activities, or initiatives aimed at fostering a more inclusive and sustainable campus.
